We are a play-based, parent-participation cooperative preschool that helps children transition to kindergarten and elementary school with social, emotional and cognitive skill building.

Our mission is to instill a love of learning in children and help them develop essential life skills. By honoring their thoughts and feelings, allowing them to practice problem-solving, and encouraging openness to the world around them, we teach children to value themselves and others.

Join us for The Children’s Cottage annual online auction! Since 1949, our cooperative pre-school has been a offering a magic-filled, play-based education in the historic Remillard Cottage. As a nonprofit, we rely on the heartbeat of our community to keep our school thriving.

From March 21–29, 2026, you’ll have the chance to bid on a fantastic array of items while directly impacting our students.
